Join us for a Pittsford Strong event! Disposable surgical masks will be distributed free of charge to Pittsford residents this Saturday, November 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Pittsford Mendon High School, 472 Mendon Road.
The colder weather means more of us spending time indoors. With flu season underway and the holidays approaching, it is more important than ever to wear a mask and follow 6-foot distancing guidelines. Keeping COVID-19 cases down in our community is not only important to the overall health of our community – it will keep our kids in school. Help us all stay Pittsford Strong!
No reservations are necessary; it will be drive-up service following all appropriate COVID-19 protocols. Pittsford residents may pick up masks for themselves and other members of their household.
The goal is to provide masks to all those in need. In addition to the drive-in distribution, masks will also be delivered to senior residential communities and senior care facilities, Pittsford Food Cupboard and others as needed.
Many thanks to our collaborative partners including Monroe County for providing the masks, Town of Pittsford and Town Supervisor Bill Smith, Village of Pittsford and Mayor Bob Corby, the Pittsford PTSA, and Pittsford Central School District and Superintendent Mike Pero.
